Jesus said, "My Father’s house will be a house of prayer." At King of Glory everything we do is birthed in prayer as we seek His face, both corporately and individually. In becoming a house of prayer, we encourage everyone to establish a lifestyle of prayer by setting up your personal Prayer Altar, a regular time to minister to the Lord through worship, the Word and prayer.
We offer many opportunities for corporate prayer:
Every Sunday | 9:15 am | Sanctuary
Pre-Service Prayer is time set aside before the Celebration Service to seek The Lord and set the atmosphere for Sunday, led by Marisela Luper and the worship team at King of Glory.
Every Friday | 9:00 am | Sanctuary
One Thing I Seek is a weekly opportunity for worship and prayer incorporating banners and movement led by the Marisela Luper.
Every 1st Wednesday | 7:00 pm | Sanctuary
King of Glory Family Prayer Nights are monthly meetings to cover the church in prayer. We gather at 6:00pm to eat dinner together (bring your own meal) then pray for the leadership team, ministries and various needs in the body.
In an effort to align with God’s strategy for His Church and the nations, we have three key verses that shape our prayer times:
Isaiah 56:7 All these I will bring to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.
Act 15 :17 So that the rest of men may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles upon whom My name has been invoked,
Mark 14:37 …Have you not the strength to keep awake and watch [with Me for] one hour?
These prayer strategies have been crafted during the Thursday morning Women’s Bible Study at King of Glory and are posted here for the body to unify in prayer and be edified. Click one the prayer strategies below to download and incorporate into your personal or family prayer time:
